This is a msg from a non muslim that i saw in one site and i loved:
I am not Muslim, but have quite a few Muslim friends and I know enough overall about this religion to know that it is based off of a peaceful nature and directs people towards being kindhearted. So, for those of you who disprove of what this woman is wearing I think it best if you yourself remember your religious values (or if you don't have a religion morals at least) before you start saying hateful things. Everyone has a right to express their opinion please just do it w/ class and kindness. My personal opinion is that this is a great message to spread to naive people who hate on this religion because it is linked to terrorist attacks (yet ignore the fact that all religions went wrong somewhere due to being used for justification of violent acts.) People who practice Islam are just like the rest of us they deserve a spot in the media and equal rights as well as the right to publicly support their beliefs.

Questions for you, islamic cartoons.

  1. 01 - Who criticizes Islamic women for staying at home to raise their family? I've never even heard of that in my life.

02 - No one cares if a Muslim or a Jew grows a beard to express their faith as long as they do not try and force their faith onto anyone else.

Most Jews do not want a world where everyone is Jewish, however many (I would say 40%) of Muslims do want an Islamic world under sharia law and many of them are happy to have their beliefs forced onto other people under threat of violence. FACT.

03 - I would say any child that dedicates themselves to any religion is hopeless. No child under the age of at least 10 is self aware and worldly wise enough to truly understand the concepts of faith, spirituality and death. Let them live their childhoods and find God (or not find God) in their own time.

04 - Yes people who believe everything the media tells them are stupid and ignorant, but (speaking as an atheist who knows there is no creator) what sets the Quran apart from every other collection of mystical writings such as the Bible?

05 - That is not true. In fact exactly the opposite is true here in England. I often get annoyed when the press fail to mention someone's ethnicity or religion when it is relevant to the crime they have committed.

06 - A nun has free choice when she decides to cover herself as part of her service to God.

It is different for most Islamic women around the world as they have to cover themselves so they don't bring ridicule from their family or community. In fact in many Islamic countries it is the law that women must cover themselves. That is not freedom of choice.
