Burqa ... niqab .... etc..
is used by Muslim women - a symbol of purity and feminine hygiene (in countries where the climate is arid and / or desert, sandstorms ruin the women hair, and the region's scarce water - wash the hair is a problem). In these countries even mens wear baggy and long clothes, turbans ... for the same reasons cited above.

é usado pelas mulheres muçulmanas -um simbolo da pureza e da higiene feminina (pois em países de clima árido e/ou desértico, as tempestades de areia fariam miséria nos cabelos femininos e a região é escassa em água - lavar os cabelos é um problema). Também é proteção contra o sol. Há outras justificativas baseadas em diferentes interpretações do Al Corão.
Nestes mesmos países os homens usam roupas largas e compridas, turbantes... pelas mesmas razões a cima citadas.
(em algumas tribos dos desertos , quanto mais o homem estiver coberto mais alto é o seu status social)
